Microneedling – Pre Op considerations
Your microneedling procedure will involve a simple blood draw so we can formulate the PRF. Before you come for your appointment however there are some pre op considerations that you must follow. You must avoid sunexposure (avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 2-4 weeks prior to treatement), certain skin care products ( discontinue topical retinoids ( like Retin -A, tretinoin , 5-7 days before the procedure) and blood thinners( like aspirin and ibuprofen at least 1 week prior to the procedure). Do avoid waxing, laser hair removal, or depilatory creams for 5-7 days before the procedure.
Micro needling with PRF Treatment – The procedure
Micro needling with PRF is a procedure in which we extract a sample of your blood to process your platelet rich fibrin – Bio-PRF. After having numbed your skin for 30 minutes and and then gently cleaning your face, we then apply to the PRF to your facial skin. Next, we use the DermaPen on your skin using a vibrating stamp-like motion, allowing the PRF to penetrate deeper into your skin.

What Should I Expect
After a PRF Micro needling Procedure?
